Isn’t the Sabbath only for Israelites or Jews?

"Also the sons of the stranger that join themselves to the LORD, …every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of My covenant, even them will I bring to My holy mountain."

Answer

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not just Jews. The original word for "man" is "Anthropos", which is Greek for "Human". Even in the Old Testament, the Bible tells us that non-Jews, or "The sons of the stranger", were invitied to join themselves to God’s people and keep the Sabbath, and God would accept them.

"My house shall be called an house of prayer for all people." Isaiah 56:7
