Which day did Jesus keep?

Answer

Jesus custom was to go to church, or the synagogue, on the Sabbath day. The Bible teaches that a Christian is a follower of Christ, and must do as Jesus did. In His 33 1/2 years of ministry on earth, Jesus kept 1742 weekly Sabbath days!

Is our Saturday today the same day of the week as it was in Jesus time? Have we lost track of time? or, Has a calendar change affected the weekly Sabbath day?

On March 12, 1932, US Navel Observatory director James Robertson wrote a letter to answer this question: “The specialists in chronology have never found the slightest doubt about the continuity of the weekly cycle since long before the Christian era. There has been no change in our calendar in the past centuries that has affected in any way the cycle of the week.” In other words, the Saturday that we have today is the same day of the week that people back in Jesus day observed. No calendar change has affected the weekly cycle. (Watch the video below)
