Question 10
What part of judgment is given to the saints?
Bible
Revelation 20:12
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
Revelation 15:4
"For Your judgments are made manifest."
Answer
The books in heaven represent the records that are kept of every deed done by every person. God knows and keeps record of every action, intent, word, and thought (Genesis 6:5, Matthew 12:36, etc.). The books that recorded all the deeds of every person will be opened. The saints will not be judging WHO is saved or lost, but WHY they were saved or lost. They will be reviewing God’s judgments. That’s why the Bible says God’s “judgments are made manifest.” The saints will be able to review God’s judgments by looking into the books of record.
