Will the fire ever go out?

Malachi 4:3
"And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet."
Answer
Once the fire has accomplished its work of turning the wicked into ashes, the fire goes out. The devil, his angels, sin, and sinners are gone forever! "No more death, pain, sorrow, or crying" Revelation 21:4. The whole earth will be purged and clean once again!
