Not only did God give Daniel the dream, but God also gave Daniel the interpretation of what the dream meant. Daniel told the king that in his dream he saw a great image made of different metals. The different metals of the image represented the future world kingdoms. The head of the image, made of gold, represented King Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon.
