"I beseech you, that you present your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God".
Answer
A healthy body means a healthy mind. God wants to speak to our minds. He wants us to be able to hear and understand His voice. With a healthy body and mind we can better hear and respond to His leading. That’s why the Bible tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice unto God. God really cares about us, and wants us in the best possible health.
