Question 9
Is there an example of Jesus getting himself AND another person out of a trap?
Bible
John 8:3-5
"The scribes and the Pharisees brought to Him a woman…saying, This woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Moses in the law commanded that such should be stoned; but what do you say?"

Answer
After enticing a woman into committing adultery, the scribes and Pharisees caught her in the act and brought her to Jesus. They were hoping to trap Jesus by asking him to pronounce judgment on the woman. They reminded Jesus that Moses commanded that an adulterer should be stoned. If Jesus said no, she shouldn’t be stoned, they would present Jesus to the people as someone who was against the law of God. If he said yes, she should be stoned, then they would report him to the Romans for illegally pronouncing the death sentence. They thought for sure that Jesus would condemn himself no matter how he answered.
