Question 15
Can I be victorious like the woman on Judgment Day?
Bible
Jeremiah 31:34
"I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."
1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Answer
If we want to be victorious in the judgment, we must throw ourselves at the mercy of Jesus, just like the woman did. Once she was thrown at Jesus’ feet, she did nothing but stay at his feet. She didn’t try to deny the accusations. She didn’t try to run away or make excuses. She simply stayed where she was and allowed Jesus to exercise his great mercy. To be victorious, we must come to Jesus confessing our sins; no excuses, no running away, no bargaining, simply come to Jesus, stay with Jesus, and listen to him as he commissions us, Go and sin no more!
Would you like to ask Jesus to make you victorious just now?
Hopefully your answer is YES!
Come to Jesus on your knees asking for forgiveness and repentance, then seek Him daily through Bible study and prayer. Follow Him through obedience and share what you learn in your Bible study when given the opportunity, and you are guaranteed to be victorious on Judgment Day!
