Revelation is not a sealed book or a book that wasn't meant to be understood The root of the word “Revelation” is “reveal”. This is a book of revealing or uncovering. Revelation is a book that reveals end time events. Out of the 66 books in the Bible, there are only two books that use the word “sealed” when referring to themselves; Daniel, and Revelation. In the book of Daniel, the author is told to “seal” up the book until the end of time. But in the book of Revelation the author is told not to “seal” the book.
