There will be a resurrection. The dead shall be raised with perfect, new bodies. There will be a loud noise. The Lord shall come from heaven with a shout with the trump of God. Those who died believing in Christ shall rise first. Does it sound like a secret? No, this will be the loudest, most memorable event in earth’s history. The coming of Jesus will capture everybody’s attention.
In a recent Scripts Howard News survey, they found that only 36% of Americans believe in the Resurrection, even though this miraculous event is mentioned more than 40 times in the Bible. The second coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead is a major theme in scripture.
