Didn't God give us an immortal soul that can not die?
Bible
1 Timothy 6:15-16
"The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who only has immortality."
Ezekiel 18:4
"The soul that sins shall die."
Answer
The Bible teaches that a soul can die and that immortality is something that God alone has now. In 1 Corithinans 15, the Bible says immortality is a gift that God will give His saints at the first resurrection when Jesus returns.
