"What shall we do? Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized every one you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins."
Answer
After being convinced that Jesus was indeed the Messiah, the people wanted to know what they should do about it. Peter told them to repent and be baptized, every one, in the name of Jesus. This would symbolize the washing away of sin.
