Why were the iron feet mixed with clay?

"And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay…they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."
Answer
Just as iron is not mixed with clay, the divisions of Europe will not unite into a single nation again. Many European kings and rulers have tried to unite Europe into a one world empire, but all have failed. Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler, and others have tried, but the Bible predicted they would never unite into a one world kingdom. Again, the Bible was right!
