Is it dangerous to believe the ‘once saved always saved’ doctrine?

Answer
The Bible warns us to beware of over confidence or complacency in our Christian walk because God doesn't want us to fall away from Christ. The danger comes when a Christian is tempted to think that he no longer needs to make changes in his life because he is already destined to be saved. God is trying to purify our characters, but He needs our cooperation so we can be fit to live with Him in Heaven forever.
