Because the Bridegroom was late, what happened to all the Virgins?

"When the Bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept."
Answer
Because the Bridegroom didn’t come when they expected Him to, all the virgins got sleepy and went to take a nap. Notice that even the wise virgins slept. Perhaps it wasn’t the best thing to do, but falling asleep didn’t disqualify the wise virgins from going home with the Bridegroom when He did come later.
