"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, Where have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in My house, and prove Me now says the LORD of Hosts, if I will open for you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

God's true church will be good stewards of the resources God has given them.
It is a privilege for the Christian to give. Every resource is a gift from God and should be recognized by the act of cheerful giving. Besides free will offerings, there is another type of giving taught in the Bible called tithe. A tithe, or 10% of one’s increase, is required from God’s people to support the work of the gospel in His worldwide church. Tithing is different than free will offerings, and is to be given in addition to these. God invites us to test Him in this, to see if He will pour out abundant blessings in our lives.
